One killed, four injured as more storms hit Poland

One person was killed and four were injured as storms hit Poland on Thursday and Friday, firefighters said.

The Government Security Centre said more than 26,000 customers were left without electricity as fierce winds downed power lines. Storms also felled trees and flooded cellars.

Winds ripped off or damaged roofs on some 500 buildings across the country, including 289 residential buildings.
