Rainfall warnings for eastern, southern Poland

Heavy rains are expected to soak much of eastern and southern Poland in the next several days, the Government Security Centre warned on Sunday.

Level-one and level-two alerts on a three-tier scale have been issued for a total of eight provinces.
Poland’s Institute of Meteorology and Water Management has additionally issued "hydrological warnings" for four provinces in the south of the country, alerting residents to possible flood risk. (str/pk)
