Thirty-six percent of respondents are critical of his performance, according to pollster Kantar Public.

In comparison to a similar poll in July, the ratings of the Polish head of state have risen slightly, with the approval rate up by three percentage points.

The number of respondents who have no opinion of Duda’s performance has remained unchanged at 10 percent.

Duda was sworn in as Poland’s president on 6 August 2015.

The government of Prime Minister Beata Szydło has as many critics as supporters, with 45 percent of the respondents on both sides, and 10 percent having no opinion on the matter.

The ratings are almost the same as a month ago, according to Kantar Public.

Prime Minister Beata Szydło herself is seen in a slightly more positive light, with 46 percent of Poles having a favourable view of her performance and 42 percent having a critical opinion.

The poll was conducted between 4 and 9 August on a representative group of 1,063 Poles aged over 15, using computer-assisted personal interviewing. (mk/str)
