The “Planetobus” will set out in February. Packed full of hi-tech equipment, it will allow children in at least 20 towns to watch the sky anywhere on earth and to travel to other planetary systems in virtual reality.
Separately, a Science Bus will travel around Poland, allowing children to carry out experiments in biology, physics, chemistry and computer science.
Both the Planetobus and the Science Bus are projects by Poland’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education in cooperation with Warsaw’s Copernicus Science Centre, which has won praise for its interactive exhibits and its innovative approach to sparking interest in science.
