Polish PM, president neck and neck in confidence survey

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and President Andrzej Duda are the most trusted politicians in Poland.

According to the latest survey by pollster IBRiS, both enjoy the trust of 46.7 percent of respondents.

The confidence rating for Morawiecki rose by 18 percent in January compared to the previous month.

At the same time, 28.9 percent of the respondents declared a lack of trust in the prime minister, while 39.1 percent said they did not trust the president.

The two top politicians are followed in the confidence survey by Deputy Prime Minister Beata Szydło, with 40.9 percent, and Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro, with 34.4 percent.

Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of the ruling Law and Justice party, enjoys the trust of 34.2 percent of Poles.

Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz tops the list of politicians with the lowest confidence rating: 67.2 percent of Poles say they do not trust him.
