Eight injured as trams collide in Warsaw

Eight people were injured in a collision involving three trams in central Warsaw on Monday.
Edyta Lisowska from Warsaw police headquarters said that those injured were taken to hospital. In total, 11 people were given medical help.
Investigators are to probe the cause of the accident.
The smash-up took place shortly before 9 am on Monday at the intersection of the Polish capital’s Grójecka and Wawelska streets.
By Monday afternoon traffic was flowing normally at the site.
