The Polish foreign ministry wants Polish nationals in Poland and abroad to design an exhibit to reflect Poland's Solidarity history and fit the theme: “There is no freedom without solidarity”.

The winning work will be installed on the lawn outside the main entrance to NATO headquarters.

Entrants, who must be architecture or fine arts graduates or fourth or fifth-year students, have been invited to provide renderings of their designs by 27 February.

Entries will then be shortlisted and artists will be asked to submit 1:10 scale models of their designs to the foreign ministry in Warsaw.

The winning design will get a PLN 30,000 prize, while the first runner-up will get PLN 6,000, third place will get PLN 4,000 and five other outstanding designs will get PLN 2,000 each.
