The study by pollster IBRiS for the Onet.pl website found that backing for PiS has dropped 1.8 percentage point compared to January.
Meanwhile, the opposition Civic Platform (PO) party, which was voted out of power in 2015 parliamentary elections, is in second place with 19.6 percent, down 0.4 percentage point, according to the survey.
The Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) is third on 9.4 percent, up by 2.8 percentage points, the study found.
The five-percent threshold required to enter parliament would also be exceeded by the Polish People’s Party (6.6 percent) and the Kukiz ’15 grouping (5.5 percent).
With 4.4 percent support, the Nowoczesna (Modern) party would not make it to the Sejm, the lower house, according to the poll. (aba/pk)
