Nearly half of Poles happy with PM: study

Forty-nine percent of Poles are satisfied with Mateusz Morawiecki as prime minister, according to a new survey.

Meanwhile, 28 percent said their were dissatisfied, while 23 percent said they had no opinion, the study by pollster CBOS found.
In total, 38 percent of respondents said they supported Morawiecki's conservative Law and Justice government, while 24 percent said they opposed it.
A hefty 33 percent said they were indifferent.
The survey was carried out from June 7 to 14 on a representative, random sample of 1,029 adults.
Polish President Andrzej Duda in December tasked Morawiecki with forming a new Cabinet.
His predecessor Beata Szydło resigned halfway through her Law and Justice government’s term in office.
Law and Justice politicians said that the change of prime minister reflected the government’s determination to focus on the economy over the next two years.
