The move, proposed by Poland’s ruling conservatives, was backed by 420 deputies, while four voted against and four abstained.
The State Protection Service replaced Poland's Government Protection Bureau under a law that came into force in February.
As well as providing security for VIPs and important buildings, the State Protection Service is charged with gathering intelligence and fighting crimes that pose a risk to public safety.
