Poland’s second most-trusted politician is Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, with 57 percent of those surveyed saying they have confidence in him, the CBOS poll found.

Meanwhile, opposition leader Grzegorz Schetyna, whose Civic Platform (PO) party lost parliamentary elections in late 2015, is the most distrusted politician in the country, according to the survey. He is distrusted by 45 percent, the poll found.

The head of Poland’s ruling conservatives, Jarosław Kaczyński, is distrusted by 43 percent, the poll found.

The survey was carried out earlier this month, asking 1,023 adults for their views.
