In a display of grief, residents crowded outside the church in the northern Polish town of Koszalin where the funeral was held.
The service for the five 15-year-olds was broadcast on a large screen.
The girls had been celebrating a birthday in a so-called escape room when the fire broke out last Friday.
The teenagers suffered carbon monoxide poisoning, state news agency PAP reported.
Escape rooms across the country were inspected in the wake of the blaze. Dozens were closed down after the safety checks.
A 28-year-old man believed to have been running the Koszalin games room has been detained and charged with negligent homicide.
