Poland’s military forces have been developing dynamically since the country joined NATO 20 years ago, Polish Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak has said.

During his speech at an Air Force base in Mińsk Mazowiecki, central Poland, Błaszczak said that for the last 20 years Polish army has been active in developing NATO security structures, contributing to many foreign missions.
Twenty military units in Poland, including the one in Mińsk Mazowiecki are holding picnics and military equipment shows to celebrate the anniversary this weekend.
Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary will on Tuesday mark exactly two decades since they have become members of NATO.
